Summary: eXe 1.00 Release!
Project: eXe (eLearning XHTML Editor Project)
Today's release of Version 1.00 of the eLearning XHTML editor is a
milestone for the project. This marks a functionally
complete, easy-to-use authoring tool that allows teachers and
academics to put their resources online in standard formats without
having to learn the details of web and package formats. We
are revising the
manual to include more and more tips illustrating what we think
are the best ways to get the most out of eXe. And, as always,
the release
notes list all of the recent changes.
We offer our sincere thanks to the many volunteer translators,
authors, testers, and users that have contributed to the community
to make eXe better. Your participation and dedicated work has
been crucial to the project's success. We really enjoy
working with the community.
But this is not the end of the line. We've got a few
ideas... And of course we will be here to support the
community and to resolve issues that may come up. We hope to
involve the community more and more in sustaining the support,
development, and growth of eXe.
