An open source elearning, collaboration and community building platform developed in New Zealand. It is a free alternative to the likes of WebCT and Blackboard. It is an open source cms, lms designed with the intention of making it easy for students and lecturers to interact online, based around constructivist and vygotskian views of teaching and learning. The key advantage of Interact is the ability to structure a course the way you want it, rather than being stuck with a predefined separation of content and interaction.
